Peter began his dancing at age fifteen through the dance program run by Charisse Parnell at Rossmoyne Senior High School. After graduating in 2005, he joined Steps Youth Dance Company and performed in KISSXX (2006) and Dash (2007) where he held the lead role. In 2007 he was accepted into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2009. Peter then joined Buzz Dance Theatre as a company member and over the next four years performed seven seasons including Behind The Veneer, Stop! Dont Blink , Postcards Home, Thrill, Fragile, Restless, Look The Other Way and Goodbye Jamie Boyd. He was also part of the indigenous community tour Big Stretch in 2010 and 2011. In 2011 Peter was nominated for "West Australia's Dance Award for Emerging Artist" and named "Dancer To Watch" in Dance Australia magazine. In 2012 Peter worked with Jacob Lehrer on a creative development of the work Found and involved in the Australian remount of the work 3G choreographed by Jean Claude Galota in 2012. He also performed Shortburts a work by Marko Panzic at the 2010 Australian Dance Awards in Melbourne and made it to the final round dance auditions of The Lion King and The King and I in 2013. In June 2013, Peter was invited to perform Driving Into Walls by Barking Gecko Theatre Company at Parramatta Riverside Theatre and Sydney Opera House. With eight years of experience teaching in the industry, Peter is currently formalising his skills by completing a Graduate Diploma of Education.
